Monday’s Child… “Nursery Rhyme”

19 Jun

A very old (published: 1838), famous nursery Rhyme which is supposed to be a fortune teller, based on the day of birth of a child.

I personally dont believe it, but its interesting anyways. Come on lets sing!
The Rhyme Goes like this::
“Monday’s child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s child is full of grace,
Wednesday’s child is full of woe,
Thursday’s child has far to go,
Friday’s child is loving and giving,
Saturday’s child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day, /Sabbath Day ~ Sunday/
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.”
Note: I’m a monday’s child and I’m not at all fair of face 😉
