Interviews and Placements Guide

1 Aug

Are you getting ready for placements! Undoubtedly, most of us rely on internet for our preparation. But, we sometimes, we get so involved in searching for the sites instead of the actual practice.

That is why, I am listing a few useful sites which will be very much useful during your practice! The following sites will help you a lot in the preparation:

1. M4Maths:

I consider this as the best site which will help you  clear the written test! It has all varieties of questions papers from various written tests of several companies. Practice the respective papers before attending the company. Cover as many papers as you can and don’t waste time for the one’s which trouble you!

2. FreshersWorld:

This one is also similar to M4Maths.  Its upto you, how you choose the papers from both the sites! Improving your aptitude skills is the main motto!

3. Indiabix:

Keep referring this site whenever you are free. It covers almost all the key subjects. By reading them, you gain the knowledge  which helps you a lot in the technical rounds and some of the bits in written test too.

4. TechPreparation:

This has resources for all the rounds of a placement process. You will find aptitude questions, interview questions, placement papers, guides to improve your soft skills, resume writing etc. On a whole it covers almost everything!

– All the above sites will help you to clear all the rounds in a placement, but for final HR round, you need to be yourselves! You should know about you, your strengths, your weaknesses, your achievements and whatever you speak, be truthful and be confident!

– There are many other sites similar to the sites I have listed. If you want the alternatives, Just google them 😉 I am only describing the sites that I have already used and found useful and according to me, they are more than enough!

Final word – “Finding the resources will not be enough. Effective usage is all that matters!”

Aim it

1 Sep
Well every human being has some goals, wishes, dreams, etc.,and  some  will achieve them but some may not.Because they might not fight all the way for it.Of course every one will fight but there are some things which stops them in fighting…

1.”Laziness” which is the biggest enemy for every human being.

2.Do not having a specific goal.

3.Lack of concentration,mind deviation,etc

4.May be lack of good circumstances.

5.Over confidence

Of course there may be lot more but these are the major ones.

In order to achieve their goals one should not be lazy,he should be in a position to say what is laziness.Better being away from it rather than fighting against this enemy. physical laziness leads to mental laziness. So first be perfect physically.Morning jogging, gym, exercises, will help you a lot. so let us practise them.

Next thing is not having a specific goal.this is the most common thing in many students.they want to do every thing or not any thing.they should know which one will suits them better. It is always encouraging in the thing  he/she first choose your goal.

Concentration is most important thing.Without that one can do should improve his concentration power more and practising meditation yoga is always encouraging.
well actually to say there is nothing like good and bad circumstances every thing lies in our thinking and our hands.find best one in your way itself and try to be top in the field you in and you one can change his fate he/she can turn his bad luck to good luck

And finally over confidence. It creates all the above things. No one help the one who has over let be confidence but not over.

There is a good comparision of human being with fire.Man from his birth will be burning always.Burning with hunger, wish, money,to live, temper, etc,. we are divided into two catogories one burning like wood and finally endup as ash and other burning like a lamp and showing the way to others

“So do not end up as just ash but show some way to others before you become ash”.

The Art of Writing

4 Aug

Writing a GOOD essay. What do you think of this. Is it very easy? Or its almost impossible to you. In both the cases, you are wrong.

When you are thinking of writing an essay, you should remember these few things in mind.

  • For whom am I writing this?
  • Remember the purpose behind your essay.
  • Question “Will the reader understand this?”
  • See that it makes clear and focussed points
  • Don’t add unnecessary content that may waste your readers time.
  • Arrange the essay in an organised order, with head at top, and legs to bottom!

No one writes perfectly. Read as many articles as you can. You can read from anywhere like books, magazines, web articles, novels etc,. And always note the things that attracted you in those articles. Avoid Grammar mistakes and Spelling mistakes!

You may not achieve it immediately, but keep on writing, writing and writing.. so on until you write the best..

All the best.!!

Say Sorry to ‘Worry’!

12 Jul

What can be a very good example t0 a Silent-Killer…..???
The answer to this question should surely be …”Worry”.

What could be worse than a horror movie not reaching its climax? Worry is very much similar to this. Our thoughts roam around a particular point however far we try to travel.

So, from now on, when you think of worrying.. please remember its destructive effects on your health and your life. Sometimes we experience a sense of intoxication or dooming kind of feeling, which is due to too much of worry and anxiety. Thinking the negative effects of the present, past and the future leads to worry.

The people who keep consistently thinking of the negative aspects of life, and consistently focus on only the bad times of their life, end up with losing the capacity to face the challenges of life. They are just closing their eyes towards the brighter side of life. They forget to (or just don’t want to ) see the positivity!

What the Holy Books Say of Worry?

There are millions of quotes that resemble the above verses in Quran!!!!

There are millions of quotes that resemble the above verses in Bible!!!!

Not only them, almost all the holy books say this.

So, Stop worrying. Trust your god.. Trust in whatever you do.. And believe that there is no need of worry in our life.
Question yourself the use of worry. The answer will show you the way!!!!!

All the best in every step of your life!

Need For Sleep!

29 Jun
One of the most important daily task of life is a “Sleep”! Well slept at night, wakes you healthy in the morning to the rest of the day!

The modern day lifestyle is reducing the sleep time of an individual. While some suffer the lack of time to sleep, the other feel it difficult to sleep due to several personal issues.

Lack of time: The minimum time of sleep required for an individual differs by age group!

  • Newborns – 16 to 18 hours a day
  • Children of pre-school – 10 to 12 hours a day
  • School aged and teen – 9 hours of sleep a night
  • Adults – 7 to 8 hours a day

It is a must that we manage to fulfill this amount of sleep a day, irrespective whatever works we have. How you manage is up to you!

Unable to sleep: This is the most frustrating thing. Your mind thinking a billion. You keep tossing and turning round the bed.

These are the tricks for you to follow:

  • Reduce day time sleep. Night sleep is more essential. If you sleep, it must be until the 3 pm only.
  • Follow a regular time. Go to bed the same time every day. Even on weekends, don’t break your chain.
  • Keep coffee and cola away by the sunset. All those things that contain caffein, alcohol and nicotine like coffee, tea, even chocolate must be avoided.
  • Have a light snack before bed. Drinking slightly boiled milk gives a warm sleep too.
  • Take a hot bath before one hour of sleep. This will make sleep hold you very tightly 😉
  • Make sure your environment supports sleep. A cooler and noiseless room is suggested for a good sleep.
  • If you are unable to sleep for more than 15-20 mins , get up! Then start doing something really boring, like reading some General Knowledge books. But don’t switch on the bright lights..

Have a deep sleep. Good Night. Sweet Dreams! 😉

Criticism :x

25 Jun

Analysis of facts and expressing it to the concerned person is Criticism.

Well, you may have faced it. Or, you may criticized some other person.

Sometimes it is good, as it helps the criticized person to think and transform. Such criticism is Constructive criticism.

But it is problematic when it takes the face of just finding fault with others. This is Destructive Criticism. Lets talk only about this type of criticism now!

How to face Destructive Criticism?

When you feel that the other person is criticising you, first try to accept it positively. See if there is any truth in it. If you find that the blame was true, then you know what to do! But if the other person is unnecessarily criticising you, it’s the tough time. Control your anger. Remember, fight isn’t going help from such people. Best solution, trust me, is to ignore such critiques.

Check yourself too

Sometime you may also criticise someone and  you may not notice that the other person hates it. Always make sure you don’t hurt others. If you slipped your tongue by any means, then ask your friend if it hurt him and apologise immediately.

Some people are addicted to criticising others. Such people, please remember, “Before saying anything to others, do check yourself!”

Difficulty in Studies!!!

23 Jun
Hi Chum,
Do you also feel difficulty in studying. Does a book work as sleeping pill for you. Well, this is a general problem of many students. Lets try to solve this problem!

Study Stress

But, If you are thinking of becoming a sincere student in one day, with a sudden drastic change, I’m afraid you’re going to forget about the idea, by this time tomorrow 😉 !

If you really want yourself to get involved in studies, be prepared that this will take time. Strong determination is suggested by everyone, but I know how difficult it is to wear it in a day!

Follow step by step measures to build yourself.

  • First trust yourself. Some people just discourage themselves by saying that it’s not their cup of tea. This will take you nowhere. Remember, “Nothing is unachievable in this world when you trust yourself.”

Even Einstein was weak in Mathematics. But he trusted himself, and I need not tell you about his works in Mathematics and Physics!

  • Love your studies. I know its very difficult but convince your heart by saying “I love studies”. Let yourself have an artificial love for some days. Look out how it turns to true love.
  • Don’t just depend on your text-book. Don’t study your subject for your exams. Go for practical thinking. Browse about the particular topic of the day online.

For example, the topic is about an engine. Don’t just by heart the topic given in  your text-book. Try to find out about engine in general manner, by observing it directly. Google search “an engine”. Study practically how it works! What are its parts. What is each part doing in there. Learn it with a will that you know everything about an engine. Then you will be in a position to write everything about it in the exam!

  • Explain to others. “What can I explain when I myself don’t know anything?”, Is this your question. Try explaining the little things you know about a particular topic to a friend weaker than you in studies. See how you clarify your doubts while explaining him!
  • Ask doubts frankly. Many of us feel it difficult to stand up during the class and ask doubt. It may be a critical one or a silly one. But if you really feel shy to ask in front of every one, then first try to ask the teacher when the explanation is finished. Later you will gain courage to ask during class.

Remember: “He who asks may be a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever”.

  • Pray your God. Yes, This is a common solution to every little problem in life. Ask him anything with love. He will surely give you. 🙂

All the best. May you be one among the top students of your class!
